1. Status of Compliance with the Requirements
This website is largely compliant with the requirements of the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (08-2018).
Due to the incompatibilities listed below, the website is currently classified as partially compliant.
2. Non-accessible Content
The following content is currently not fully accessible:
- Alternative text for images:
Not all images (especially product images and sliders on the homepage) provide meaningful alternative text for screen reader users. - Keyboard accessibility:
The main menu and some filter functions within categories are not fully operable via keyboard. In some areas, the keyboard focus is difficult to visually identify. - Color contrast:
Some text elements (e.g. gray text on a white background or text displayed on images) do not yet meet the minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1. - Forms:
During the checkout process and account creation, clear error messages for screen readers or autocomplete attributes to simplify data entry are partially missing. - PDF documents:
Linked PDF documents (e.g. Terms and Conditions or cancellation policy) are not created in an accessible format (missing tags/structure).
Reason:
This website is part of a project within an academic course. We are continuously working to reduce the listed barriers within the technical possibilities of the software used (PrestaShop).
